About the Smithey Ranch

Welcome to the Smithey Ranch, owned and operated by Charles and Virginia Smithey, located in the beautiful Hill Country near Mountain Home, Texas.

We offer packaged hunts of Trophy Whitetail and Management buck hunts as well as doe hunts, and Spring Turkey hunts. We also have Exotics in our other pastures.

We have been under strict game management for our whitetail for many years. We feed protein and grow plots for our deer year-round to produce some of the best bucks killed in Texas. Charles Smithey personally guides each hunt.

You’ll enjoy the family run operation that offers exceptional and limited bookings. We book only one hunting party—your hunting party—at a time.
